Inquiry – Empathy and Compassion
Cultivating a loving and compassionate heart is a common and important challenge for most people. A personal transformation, or a transition in group culture, may involve learning how to express empathy – exercising the ‘muscles’ needed, and practising to become better at it. Brené Brown, and others, aim to transition away from a ‘culture of shame’ toward a ‘culture of empathy,’ where expressing empathy is much more common.
