Transforming Your Journey: Ubuntu, Storytelling, and Embodied Connection with Mama D
What does it mean to belong in a deeply interconnected world? In Transforming Your Journey, Mama D invites participants into an immersive exploration of Ubuntu, embodied storytelling, and our relationships with both human and more-than-human life.
Blending story, reflection, and experiential practice, this session explores how modern life often pulls us toward separation, individualism, and disconnection. Through movement, imagination, and collective inquiry, participants are invited to reconnect with the living web of relationships that sustain us and to rediscover our shared response-ability to one another and the Earth.
Grounded in Ubuntu—”I am because we are”—this session offers a powerful invitation to experience connection not simply as an idea, but as a lived, embodied practice. Together, participants weave individual stories into a collective experience of belonging, regeneration, and more-than-human kinship.
